My Story

In his early youth, Alex started his journey filming and editing footage from his camcorder from hip-hop to basketball videos as a hobby. As his future carried on into University of Toronto for New Media Studies, he volunteered to film promotional videos for non-profit organizations, student clubs and school projects for fun. Originally he intended to be a graphic designer however he realized his true passion fell in making videos. In 2014, he pursued an education at Seneca College for Television Broadcasting and was presented the Best Graphics Award (Animation) for a short film at a festival. In 2015, he interned at Relish Editing, a post production house for commercial editing where he learned to polish his skills and mentored under senior editors. Also he has worked for wedding agencies AGI Studio, Stills and Motion Media, and started his own A-Square Media.

Alex is proficient in using Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, and Illustrator. His specialty is in promotional, social events, weddings, corporate and open for anything video related. His main objective for your video is creating a compelling story and message that helps inspire viewers in words, visuals and originality. Also he enjoys continuous learning, socializing about sports and films, staying active and collaborating/meeting new people with others on new projects. Don’t be hesitant to say hello.
